Becoming IET Accredited

Why accredit your programmes?

In a competitive international market, students and the industry are demanding more. Accreditation can help you attract the best students, meet industry expectations, benchmark your programmes against other institutions globally, and access a wider range of benefits as an IET Academic Partner.

For more details, visit the IET UK Accreditation page.

We support you at every stage of the accreditation journey

IET academic experts run theoretical and practical workshops to help institutions gain an understanding of the accreditation process.

And alongside workshops, we offer:

  • Help with the initial application and detailed online guidance
  • Advisory visits (followed by reports and recommendations)
  • Advice on the suitability of new programmes, and modifications of existing programmes to reach suitable levels for accreditation
  • Annual checks.
