Graduate Advantage helps members improve their employability, through resources that support your intention to become an accredited industry professional.

We provide:

  • Career advice and guidance, including CV writing tips and tools.

Who is eligible?

Final year engineering or technology degree students, and students who have graduated within the last 12 months.

Sign up for a reduced cost of Rs. 1,300/- for the first year (saving Rs. 5,600/-).

Career Advantage: for engineers in the early stages of their career

Career Advantage is a three-year programme that helps young working professionals increase their knowledge and experience, contributing to their long-term employability and career progression.

We provide:

  • A structured professional development programme that aligns with your on-the-job skills
  • Access to IET Career Manager, our online professional portfolio tool
  • Access to essential engineering intelligence resources and worldwide community peer support.

Who is eligible?

Professional members in their second, third and fourth years of work life. Applicants do not need to have completed Graduate Advantage.

Reduced cost of Rs. 2,850/- per year for three years.

Professional Advantage: for engineers ready for recognition

Professional Advantage helps members prepare for Professional Registration.  Focusing on industry knowledge and practical ability, we help you gain recognition for your competences.

We provide a goal-driven framework to help members work specifically towards becoming professionally registered engineers.

Who is eligible?

Professional members in their fifth and sixth years of work life. Applicants do not need to have completed Graduate Advantage or Career Advantage.

Reduced cost of Rs. 4,350/- per year for two years.
