On the competitive edge: How edge technologies can boost your enterprise value

Edge computing is defined as a distributed computing framework that brings enterprise applications closer to data sources such as Internet of Things (IoT) devices or local edge servers in order to reduce latency and bandwidth use. In simpler terms it means running fewer processes in the cloud and moving them to a user’s computer or an IoT device or an edge server.

We invited experts across digital industries, smart infrastructure and mobility to share how Edge is driving new use cases and business opportunities for customers around the world and unlocking tremendous value.
